These terms of sale govern the sale of custom-built macro flash diffusers and related accessories by Julien Rouard (DNP Diffuser (Dreamtime Nature Photography)) via the DNP Diffuser website.
Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms.
Products offered — V-Flex diffuser (from €99), V-Standard diffuser (from €89), optional low/high reflectors — are presented on the site's product pages. Prices are shown in euros.
As each diffuser is custom-built, the final price depends on the customer's gear (camera body, lens, flash) and chosen options, and is confirmed by email before any payment.
Orders are placed in three steps: (1) the customer submits their gear details and contact information via the site's order form; (2) the publisher checks feasibility and technical compatibility, and confirms the final price by email; (3) a payment link is sent manually to the customer, who remains free to accept it or not.
No payment is taken automatically when the form is submitted. The order is only considered final once the payment link sent has been settled.
Payment is made via PayPal, through a payment link sent individually by the publisher after the order is confirmed. No banking data is collected or stored by the site itself.
Manufacturing times are communicated to the customer when the order is confirmed, as each diffuser is built to order. Once shipped, costs and transit times vary based on the customer's geographic zone:
Customs fees may apply for shipments outside the European Union and remain the customer's responsibility. Full shipping zone details are also available on the dedicated page.
Under article L221-28 4° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. As each diffuser is custom-built for the customer's camera body, lens, and flash, orders cannot be withdrawn once production has started.
This exclusion does not apply to any standard, non-personalised accessories sold without custom configuration, for which the standard 14-day right of withdrawal applies under the conditions set by law.
All products sold benefit from the legal warranty of conformity (French Consumer Code, articles L217-3 et seq.) and the legal warranty against hidden defects (French Civil Code, articles 1641 et seq.), which apply independently of any commercial warranty and cannot be excluded.

In accordance with articles L616-1 and R616-1 of the French Consumer Code, DNP Diffuser (Dreamtime Nature Photography) is enrolled with the consumer mediation service of CM2C — Centre de Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice. If a dispute is not resolved directly with customer service, the customer may submit a free complaint to the mediator — after first contacting the publisher in writing — via https://www.cm2c.net or by post at: 14 rue Saint Jean, 75017 Paris, France.
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after seeking an amicable solution, French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
Information submitted via the order form (gear details, postal address, phone, email) is used exclusively to process the order and is never shared with third parties.
As the site is static with no database, this information is not stored on a server: the form composes an email addressed directly to the publisher. In accordance with GDPR, customers have the right to access, correct, and delete their data by writing to the contact address above.
